Are the graphics on Nintendo Wii as good as an Xbox360? I dont know which one to buy. Are games such as 'GTA' or 'alone in the dark' just as good as on an Xbox360? I want a console which is great BUT if it sacrifices gaming ability then i dont want it. I'm leaning towards the 360 but does anyone have any other support for the Wii? Everything helps ,thanks. i got my wii about 1 month ago and its the jap version and it has the dc2 chip thing i use it so i can play games from here in US and i was playing mari kart last nite and i wake up turn it on and it won't read the disc!!!! and when i press the re set button it won't reset it the screen goes black and when i tried 3 diffrent games and then i try to go in to the channel me wii, where u can create ur personal player but the screen just goes black, i tried waiting for the wii to read the game for 5 min but it still does not work also when i try to eject the disc it won't work until i unplug it and press eject then it will finally eject it. and yes i have the disc the right way the top is facing the right plz plz help me find whats wrong with it, can i send it back to nintendo if i modded it with a chip? HEELLLPPPP am so scared if i tug out the chip do u think it will work again?? am sooooo freaking scared ppl OMG OMG OMG OMG AM SSOOOOO glad IT WORKS I THREW ICE CREAM AT IT AND IT WORKS NOW I CAN cease CRYING OMG THANK U EVERYBODY!!!

My son who is 8 has PDD.NOS (autistic features). He is getting the Nintendo Wii for Christmas. He is very good at video games. He has a used xbox, and a used gameboy. This will be his first new gaming system. What games are not frustrating, and not too violent that he will be successful with? Also could you tell me what games are not good and why? Open Question: Should I feel guilty for getting the Wii?
Yeah I'm kinda feelin guilty. I got the Wii a month and a week ago. I'm already thinking about selling it. This is how it happened. Ok so me and my parents walked into bestbuy looking to receive a new printer cuz I didn't have one and I was going to need one. So we did, then while my dad was signing up for the rewards zone thing for bestbuy my mom was looking at the wii. And she asked me if I wanted it because it had 18 month no interest. At that time I wasn't really sure if i wanted it or not because I like to read reviews about it before I really buy anything and I would probably have to buy every the games since my brother never wants to buy them. So I was like ummm let's receive it next week or something so I could research it. But my parents were like but it's gonna probably sold out next week. I still wasn't sure about it at every but my parents bought it anyway. I played wii sports for a while and it was fun for a little bit. Then the next weekend I bought Super Smash Bros. Brawl and I still haven't beaten it yet but it's kinda fun/boring sometimes. It was really fun when friends or family came over though. But now I'm kinda bored with it. I think after I buy these games I'm going to sell the wii because I'm going to be bored with it. -Zelda: Twilight Princess(Borrow) -Super Mario Galaxy(Borrow) -Resident bad 4 -Bully: scholarship edition -Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a new world Yeah i think i'm going to sell it after I receive those games and beat them and have no use for them. But before I sell the Wii i also have to wait till my brother gets back from France so he could at least play it and have fun with it and stuff which will be next month. After he comes back for a couple months that's when I'll probably sell it. Open Question: Why are some people obsessed with Nintendo?
I've been on Youtube and been hearing Nintendo Fan-Boys ranting how Xbox/PS sucks and Wii rocks. They say that it's revolutionary because of its motion sensing and how it's healthy. True it's revolutionary with its almost completely motion sensing controllers, but it's not that healthy. Swinging your arms around burns some calories, BUT THAT'S JUST IT! You want to stay healthy, receive outside! Or at least play DDR! "The Wii's for little kids...". A nintendo fanboy would usually respond with: "NO! WE ALSO HAVE CALL OF DUTY AND MAFIA WARS!!!!!!" Wrong, you have some games. If I was to play a good shooter game I would definitely NOT be playing it on the Wii!!! The Playstation and Xbox are for hardcore games (and regular games too). Plus Nintendo been recycling the frickken same series's for YEARS!! Mario has about 20 games. Metroid, Super Smash Brothers, Zelda; every've been recycled for 15 Years... "BUT VIDEO GAMES ARE ABOUT GAMEPLAY, NOT GRAPHICHS!!!!" Once again, wrong. Partially true though. It is indeed about gameplay, but graphics are needed too. When road Fighter or Super Mario Brothers came out, people enjoyed it because of the multiplayer and gameplay. But as time progressed, the graphics were becoming old, and new versions were needed. If you guys are obsessed with gamplay and not graphics, then go play one of those arcade games. I've had at least 6 different Nintendo Systems (lots that are handhelds). I, personally, am not hating any video game systems; but I feel that some people are not true gamers if there going to be hatin' on other systems.

Open Question: connecting wii to internet?
How do i receive into my router settings the user name and password on nintendo site don't work. Do I have to call Verizon? Will they Help me receive connected? I think I need to receive into my verizon rounter settings but the password nintendo gave doesn't work. Maybe I have to call verizon to receive the router to accept the wii. I put in the wep key code into the wii and there I cease with mistake code :(

i bought the wii last year for christmas for my kids and i have been purchasing new games and they will not read. but every the ones we already have been using are working. i bought deca sports from wal-mart last week and it would not read i returned it and got another deca sports and that one would not read so i took that one back and they gave me a different sports game and that one would not read but yet every ones i already had in the home works. so maybe somebody knows something out there that i don't know.

Open Question: super smash bros brawl controls?
i will admit that i just got my Nintendo wii, but does anyone else find the controls for brawl to be weird, i don't know what it is but for me it doesn't run as smoothly for me as when i played on 64. i have tried both the single remote way, where you use it sideways, and the nun chuck way. i do favour the nun chuck way however, but still i cant tug combos off with ease and stuff. especially with throwing characters, i have to cease, look for the arrow to press, by then im not in range. dont receive me wrong i am enjoying the game, but not as much as i was when playing the 64 vers also im asking if there is a good configuration of buttons that people use, cause im not liking where multiple buttons are for jumping and for the shield.

this year there were not any core games to buy or play on the Wii Animal Crossing is a kids games and not worth $50 The only people that about the core games are the people that made The Conduit, Madworld, home of the dead overkill,COD 5 and No More Heroes and most of those games will arrive out in 2009. 2008 was a disapointment year because there were not any core games to play except for COD 5 and SSBB. Madden 09 is too casual and WWE SVR 09 is too casual when it arrive to the controls and not enough features or gameplay. Casual games are so boring and lame too play I WISH IT WAS 2009 ALREADY!
